engine overheating after coolant flush

so i decided to flush my coolant cuz it hasnt been done since i've owned the car. and now it's making a squealing noise. not only that but it's overheating too. water pump maybe? any ideas?

Did you actually FLUSH it, or just drain and fill?
Could be air in the system, inhibiting the flow of coolant.

(ps...it's NOT a car, it's Jeep )

Cant remember if ZJ's have an actual bleeder for the coolant. Assuming they dont, take the cap off the radiator and turn the jeep on, watch the coolant until it stops burping bubbles. Then shut it off and ut the cap back on.

No reason it should overheat after a flush as long as the coolant has been filled to capacity. Coincidence, thermostat? The squealing is probably the belt as it was doused with antifreeze/water and contaminated.
