Emergency Flashers

I have an 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The flashers do not work the flasher unit and all fuses and relays are ok. The only other clue I have is when the flasher switch is turned on the turn signals will not work. But the flashers do not work eaither. Any Suggestions RICHIE

The flasher itself could be bad. I had to replace mine on my 93 Grand Cherokee. I think there were two of them and they were located just above the drivers left foot, up in the wiring.
