EGR Valve Help Please

Does a 5.2 V8 have a EGR Valve? If so, can somebody tell me where it is located at, or take a picture so I know what i'm looking for. Also, is the EGR Valve something that can be cleaned? As in does it get carbon build up on it kind of like the IAC?

If you have a 93 to 95 you should have an egr. If you do it is located on the back of the intake manifold and I think it is the passenger side. I don't know if that is something that can be cleaned.

obdii 5.2 motors do not have the egr, there's no need for it with the better computer control after 1996.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 5.2 liter. Replaced the crankshaft position sensor, when I step down on the throttle, it does not rev up right away, instead it starts to die. What is happening? Help

You should probably start your own thread instead of reopening an old thread about EGR valves.

Regardless, I see this is your 1st post and welcome to the forum

What brand of crank sensor did you buy? If not Mopar that's probably your problem. There's a couple crank sensor test in my signature if you have a multimeter. Good luck.
