effect of pre cat on flow?

i want to know what the pre cats' effect on my exhaust cfm is? i did a flowmaster 50 series and that is it. my pre cat has some sort of sensor in it but i dont know what kind. i am think of removing the pre cat what might be the consequences? is there a high flow pre cat? would it be suggested to improve my cfms'? thanks, ron

the "sensor" is an oxygen sensor you have 4 of them

You can't just remove any of the O2 sensors on OBDII vehicles or you will start throwing codes.

I picked up a couple universal magnaflow pre cats from kolak, though I haven't had them welded in yet. The exhaust shop told me they'd have to do a complete custom setup.
