curious to see aswell. just a random thought, for those of us with black interior, what if you VHT'd the lights, might make them a tad dimmer, but i doubt you would notice and it would blend better than 3 white circles haha

NICE! I actually had the same idea about a month ago and ran a wire to the trunk latch specifically for this. I was just going to pick up a set of cheapo walmart aux lights, but I think I like this idea a lot more. Good work.

edit: just went to the homedepot site to look for them. not having any luck. do you happen to remember what they were called? Only things im finding that look anything like yours are battery operated touch lights.

Apparently I bought the very last one on the shelf... On earth. Can't find them anywhere else. Custom +1

Hell, I'm gonna have to add 6 of those things to the cart. They even have overnight shipping.

wait a second, that write up is great all. But i was kinda thinking for some odd reason that you were the o/p of this thread. His setup looks ALOT brighter to me. Thanks for the writeup though, i still want to know how he did it with home interior leds though

got a link by chance?

Since I saw these pics I really wanna do LEDs. I mean the rest of my interior lights are LEDs as well, so it would only be appropriate.

Im also considering these
3" White 4 LED Boat RV Camper Accent Courtesy Lights: eBay Motors (item 300426589645 end time May-20-10 21:46:32 PDT)

only thing is I'd like something that has more LEDs per light, but doesn't cost and arm and leg.

I just picked some up from my local Home Depot. There weren't any in their floor spot, but I asked a stock person and he found 8 in stock, way high up in the rafters.

You should find them on an end cap, not actually in an isle. In the lighting department.
