Easy fast fix for idle drop off/stall

I mentioned before I found a 97 Ltd, 5.2 that wasn't running (dies when left to idle), body/interior perfect shape...got it for $500. The fella said he switched out some sensors even, nothing helped. Thanks to this forum I went straight to the idle sensor on the throttle body...BINGO! Literally 1/8" of gunk on the end of the senor. cleaned that and the throttle body and the engine starts right up and IDLES without issue.

Moral of the story...check the forums, not your mechanic.
