It would be safer to just take it out. IMO __________________ 94 Grand Cherokee ... 325,500 miles 5.2 liter quadratrac Rancho 5000 steering stabilizer |

Kruztastic! | It's only a few more bolts to fully remove it. Don't take the chance. That thing breaks loose, you do hundreds of $$ of damage, and risk throwing debris on the road, damaging other vehicles. Not worth the risk. __________________ DD: 98 ZJ Laredo 5.2, all stock Wheeler/Beater: 93 ZJ Laredo 4.0, AW4, 231 conversion from 249 3" coil lift, JKS Adjustable Track Bar, JKS Quicker Discos, KOR lwr rad supt, Brush guard Colorado Jeep Club Member 242 (4.0L) |

The drive shaft is going to rotate regardless of whether or not you have it connected to the transfer case. It is a total of 8 bolts, it will only take you 10 min to remove all 8 of them. __________________ Andy MichiganTech Mechanical Engineering BSME 2009 MSME 2010 |
