driveshaft: 242, 249, or 231?

i checked the build sheet for my GC and only found:

4-speed auto
42RE tranny
lock-up torque converter (whatever this does)
3.73 axle ratio
dana 35c/194mm rear axle

i am looking to replacing the front axles, but the build sheet doesn't say what type the front ones are. would anyone here know by the info i have given (all the info i have atm). i may just need some translating done hehe.

You have the NVG249 transfer case
You have the Dana 30 front differential
Front gear will have a 3.73 axle ratio to match the rear

What the lock-up torque converter does is to "lock" into a 1:1 reduction ratio when cruising at highway speed. This is to improve fuel mileage. If your throttle position or engine speed changes at all, it will automatically disengage. You can't see or feel it engage or disengage.

On this forum I rather think of myself as more the student than the teacher. Seems I learn something new every day on here.
