I have a '92 Chrysler NewYorker I'm cleaning up for my mother-in-law and after vacuuming it out today and WD-40'ing all the hinges, the rear driver side door will not stay shut. I've used a screwdriver to make sure the mechanism is moving and it is, wd-40'd the crap out of it, slammed it, lightly shut it, but it just won't stay shut. Any suggestions?

happens so my jeep once in awhile when the locks are frozen or very dry keep spraying them down with lubricant still the locks latch, the striker plate may also need to be adjusted to catch sooner

It's been in the garage since last night so I know it's not frozen, i will keep wd-40'ing it and see if that helps. i'll check that stricker plate too to see if there is any room for adjusting.
