Does Anybody's RKE Still Work?

I've been thinking about restoring mine but dont even have a fob. Stealer probably wants a fortune for them. And I'm sure the receiver is dead, but I know its still there......I saw it when my OHC fell off.

Just wondering.

Mine still works on my 97, and did work on my last one (95), although the remotes for the 95 kept failing. You can get remote fobs on-line cheaper by far, but I've heard you have to have them programed by a dealer on the 96+ ZJs.

98 with 200k+ works fine. Even after being dropped in a lake, creek, and mud. Battery is now a bit weak.....but works.

mine still works fine after 280k.... sometimes have to hold it to my chin to get it to work from far distances, i guess holding it to your chin grounds it through your body?

I didn't even get a remote with my Jeep but the build sheet says there's supposed to be one. I wish it worked and I had one!
