Does Anybody Know Anything About This Spoiler?

Okay, first thing: the difference between a spoiler and a wing:

A wing generates downforce, by the principle of aerodynamic lift applied to an inverted aerofoil. The tradeoff of this downforce is increased drag.

A spoiler spoils laminar flow over the surface of a vehicle, reducing overall drag by keeping airflow from "pooling" as it were in areas that cause undue drag. (For example, when air flows into the low-pressure zone behind a car, causing additional force pulling on the rear of the vehicle; a spoiler prevents or reduces this)

Whereas a wing's effects are only noticed at high air speeds, a spoiler's effects are noticeable at speeds commonly seen on public highways.

Anyway, the aerodynamic device in question:

I did some searching around and I can't find anything on this. Given the fitment, I can only assume it's an application-specific aftermarket body component. Yes, I know it's likely just for show, but even if it is, I'm okay with that. Mostly I just want to know more about it.

So does anybody know anything about it?

Could that wing be for keeping the back glass cleaner by directing the airflow down over the glass. Just a thought.

I can vaguely see what looks like a lund sticker on it. I highly doubt you will find anything like that new anymore things like that get discontinued when a vehicle is not produced anymore.

I found this one at the JY last week, mopar accessory. I like it and thats all that matters to me. Has three supports, two not shown in pic. It conforms to the shape of the hatch and directs airflow down over the hatch.

I have this on mine.

It doesn't do anything, just makes my ZJ look unique. And it matches the rest of my rain guards.
