I GET ALL MY YJ 4X4 BUILD UP FOR THE OFF ROAD QUESTIONS ANSWERED ON JEEP FORUM.COM BUT AS FAR AS MY ZJ I FEEL LIKE I AM THE ONLY ONE WITH A PASSION TO HIT TRAILS WITH OTHER THAN A STOCK ZJ. AFTER ALL I CANT HAVE MY WIFE IN THE YJ PULLING ME OUT OF THE MUD CAN I...? SOMEONE HAS TO HAVE PUT A WINCH ON A ZJ. PLEASE GIVE SOME INFO BEFORE MY WIFE SPENDS ALL OUR TAX RETURNS AT THE MALL.

Just got the ZJ on sunday but plan on taking it for its first off-road venture this comming sunday. Its stock and all but I'm currently unemployed and in highschool so I'm thinking the mods will come this summer.

BDWG-do you have any pics of your ZJ..when I have the money I want to have everything planned and I'm debating on eventual lift size and tires and mods. Also how capable is the vehicle in its state. Thanks

Well, I did have to go up the hill first...

There were a couple stockers with us and they had lots of trouble going up.

my bad I thought that jeep forum was on the internet... And I have tried to find a winch bumper for my zj and I still have not found a internet distributor. you probably dont have a reason to mod your jeep, I just like to push the limit and continue to re establish new limits. or maybe its just a jeep thing and you dont understand.

ARB has 2 bumpers for the ZJ. 1 will take a winch and the other on won't.
Trailready makes one
and clayton on the jeepsunlimited form he makes one.

I have a custom built bumper and had a platform on to put my winch.

check with www.4wheelparts.com . find the Memphis office and ask for Nick. he helped me out alot. i think that he was the cheapest for the ARB bumper winch capable. if your work has loading docks it will save you a lot. it cost like $50-$75 more to do a "residential" delivery.
