Disc Brake Conversion?

What are the thoughts of those who have converted the Dana 35 from Drum to Disc brakes?
If you have what kit did you use.
My drums are in need of a rebuild and the cost is nearly half way to the Summit kit that I found... makes me think that going the extra mile may be worth it.

If i decide to go with it I will shoot full video and stills for a build thread.

What about just swapping in a Dana 44a with disc brakes. Seems like that would be the cheapest way to go. And you would be upgrading axles at the same time.

Because that would require him to swap 2 axles instead of just the brake components. If you had thought about this for more than 3 seconds you could've noticed his gearing is 3.55 :

you can pull the disks off of a D44A and swap them right over, thats what the cherokee guys do.

Jeep D35 and D44a disk brakes are a bolt on swap for any C-clip D35. Install the disk brake proportioning valve for a disk brake ZJ at the same time.

You're probably not going to find used disc ebrake hardware worth a darn. They're generally a ball of rust. Poor combination of design and materials.
