Does anyone know if a Dana 30 HP from a cherokee is a direct bolt in for a ZJ with a 242 TC?

you need adjustable LCA's since the HP30 doesnt have the caster slot like the LP ones IIRC

I am going to build upper control arms for the rear, can't I just build uppers for the front too as long as I have the caster correct when I fab them?

Good luck getting it right. The manufacturers can't even get it perfect so they build in adjustability.

And don't be surprised if the front driveshaft is too long.
