Differential Sealant Question

I'm going to change the differential oil. What is a good sealant to use for re-sealing the cover?

I have had good results with blue RTV and the "right stuff" black RTV. I have used the black many more times, it is just what I have purchased and I have not had any problems.

Used blue and black both. I think Black is better but either will do the trick.

I also have used blue and black and ultra blue. They all seem to work.

Red is usually for hi-temp applications, I would save it for stuff like thermostats personally (not saying it won't work)

That's what I use, but I think practically anything will work just fine.
