diff. vent tube??
after a long road trip I noticed a long hose dangling from my front differential of my 98 GC Laredo 4wd. I don't know where the other end is suppose to connect. Any thoughts out there?
Same thing happened to me. It routes up and mounts to a black plastic box (air filter housing?--I just got my first jeep last week) located near the driver's side headlight. You'll see clamps or hooks that hold the tube to the box. It routes it up and then curves the tip down. If what I'm saying doesn't make any sense go to a dealer check out another jeep. Follow the tube from the front diff.

If your vent tube length is too short then, go buy a length of tube from the auto parts store and get some for like 3 bucks and route it up as high as your can. Mine is up as high as possible in the engine compartment.
