Do you guys prefer the 710 or the 703 injectors in a 94 5.2? I have 710 in it now. But a lot of people are saying 703 are better.

I want to see the results of this too. I'm not sure I am 100% happy with the 703's.

My buddy just reconditioned his 778s for his 96 4.0. He'll be swapping them back in shortly. I'll be ordering a kit for my 778s in the next couple of weeks to do the same.

I recently installed a new set of BOSCH Upgrade 4 Nozzle injectors FJ682 "s , and i am now getting worse gas mileage, it went to 12.5 mpg from 14.5
Is there some sort of break in period for these ?

I don't remember where I got it for the 703s. I'll have to search my saved emails from my online purchases or go back earlier in this thread because I'm pretty sure it's linked somewhere in here.

The link is dead now maybe Ebay I don't know. I got my rebuild from the same pace you did.

I made an eBay search link in the OP. The first result is the correct kit at this time.

Pintle Caps

Do the stock injectors (Siemens Deka 53030778) even have pintle caps? I pulled the fuel rail, injectors still connected, and not a one of them has one of those plastic caps. If they do, they likely fell into the intake (or cylinder if valve was fully open). How much damage will such a critter do? Will it simply burn up and go out the tail pipe? Or, do I need to dismantle my engine to get the things out?

The 778s don't have the caps on them.
