You can easily find an intake manifold for around $100 and it's a relatively simple swap. The 99+ manifold has nearly twice the available volume and as I have come to understand this helps make up for power losses that came about due to tighter emissions regulations. I paid $30 for my 99 intake manifold atpull a part. BTW I have 4 703 injectors if anyone wants them for $35 shipped.

Man you got a good deal. My JY charged me around $75 for mine :P....

I did write a how-to for those interested, it has a link to the original dyno tests done by DJJordache regarding performance improvements.

Well, I left out some info I just remembered, I did get charged for a exhaust manifold (the lady behind the counter did not know car parts), the normal price is $50, but still a good price either way.

Stupid question guys. What tools will I need to get the injectors? Just a ratchet and some sockets? If so what sockets?

I wanna say it was 10mm holding fuel rail, maybe a rubber mallet and pry bar to remove it

93-95 had a different flow rate for the v8. Might be higher but I can't remember.
