Don't bother with those parts store rebuilt steering gears, it's just a waste of money. Get a new one from a reputable company.

After reading all of this, I still fail to see when you actually got an alignment. Even with old worn out parts, an alignment cured mine.

I got an alignment twice. The first time it made it worse. The second time they actually couldn't do it because of to much play in the steering box. That's how I knew to replace it. I've since done a driveway alignment and I think I've got it dialed in pretty good. DW hasn't happened in months. But like I said before, I'm afraid to go above 60.
