Best place to start is to get an alignment after you install your lift.

Then Check your Track bar to make sure it is snug and not wallowing out the hole.

If that doesnt solve your problem, thouroghly inspect ALL of the rubber bushings up front (including CA bushings), ALL of the ball joints, if a boot is torn suspect a bad BJ. Remove the tie rod ends one at a time to see if they are worn....

Then go through and retourque everything to factory specs.

Do a few searches, there are a lot of threads on this topic... but those listed above would be a good place to start. Good luck and let us know what you find.

I have a '93 Cherokee XJ with a 4.5" lift... when I bought it the DW was so bad that I couldn't go over 35mph.

Fixed the problem for $147.80 by replacing the stock Tie Rod (which was bent to hell) and the stock stabilizer (which was punctured by the Tie Rod bolt).... Now I have no issues with Death Wobble at all.

Tie Rod - Rough Country - Heavy Duty 1.25" - http://www.ebay.com/itm/361318655672...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Stabilizer - Rough Country - Performance 2.2 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/141049868626...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I'm assuming this helped ...I also bought brand new General Grabbers - But only because the BFG M/T's that were on it were completely shot! (And one of them was a BFG A/T that wasn't even the right size!)

I realize this post is about 6 yrs late but hey

Trying to get your post count up or something DesertRat? Looks like you posted on several threads regarding death wobble and almost all of them were years old dead threads.

Didn't piss anyone off here, but it's courtesy to check the date on a thread before you post, especially when some of your postings are nothing more than mere smart alec comments. If it isn't a question posed to the original poster, which you could easily just ask them via p.m., or any helpful information to add to a thread there is no need to even comment. I may seem like I'm being a d!*k or something but I am really just passing on some info.
