Death shaking at highway speed solved

Check your axle stabilizer bar that is right in front of axle (Runs from Passenger side to ball joint on drivers side) Also check antiswaybar links, there are bushings inside the bolts on the bottom bolt.

Number one is the track bar everyone refers to. sway bar won't cause death wobble.

Death wobble us a very personal thing. there are usual suspects, but many different things can cause it.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

The links from the sway bar to the spindle was worn on the bottom bolts I needed new bolts and inside bushings.

Sway bar won't cause DW. I left my endlinks pins at the start of a 28 mile trail and had to drive back on the highway disconnected on a very windy day. Aside from the pucker factor from the wind pushing me around, no DW with no sway bar.

Sway bar is not even a factor in death wobble. If it was, everyone who runs without one would not be able to drive.

It's just covering up the real issue of why you have DW.

But I put on 3 steering stablizers and my death wobble went away, so it cant be the trackbar. You put one from the passenger knuckle to the tie rod, one from the driver knuckle to the tie rod and one in between. The middle one further dampens the dampening effect of the outside dampeners. Thats like 4x the dampening effect.

I bet you have not put a double SS on the rear axle thats why. Also check your tail pipe. If it wobbles then that can cause it too.

Funny how people think the SS does so much. Probably because it looks like it does. When in fact it barely does anything.
