death shake

what causes the death in these 95 grands??? its my girls daily driver so i need to fix it... i dunno much about these year zjs see im a wrangler guy an a dodge truck driver lol

make sure all suspension and steering bolts anywhere under the car are all tight.
if that doesn't fix it, try alignment, or get tires all balanced.

Loose trac bars or wallowed our trac bar mounting holes or worn trac bar bushings are the cause like 95%+ of the time.

Steering stabilizer is just a band aide, not the root cause.

yeah steering stabalizer can mask it, but is not the problem

Yeah Like they all said SS is not the root but if it has high mileage check to see if the stabilizer is blown and change it as well but deffinately find the root of the problem. Like said above really take a good look to see if there is movement in the trackbar

I changed my shocks and it went away for me

mine needed a new lower trac bar bolt, it was pounded and almost cut in half

Yea, if the front tires are toed in too far, they will cause this. Adding a lift without adjusting will make the vehicle toe in worse. Make a quick check with a measuring tape.

Wow, this topic never gets old. I mean really, it's posted nearly every day.

ZJ's are super ultra mega notorious for bad front ends. If you have over, say, 100,000 miles, replace ALL OF IT. Shocks, steering stabilizer, bushings, ball joints, track bar...
