Dash vents don't

Air comes out the defrost vents perfect, but the dash vents barely work, some air comes out, but when i press on the gas it stops coming out. Can anyone help? My friend said it might be the blower motor but i think its a vacuum line.

+1 I also have this problem. Heat and air are good out of the defrost vents but not the front vents. Anyone?

Mine come out of the dash vents, and nowhere else.

Air from the defrost vents only is a classic symptom of a vacuum leak. The vent controls are vacuum operated and low or no vacuum makes it default to defrost.

You have high vacuum at idle and it drops when you open the throttle, which matches your symptoms also.

Cruise control is also vacuum operated, to that probably doesn't work either.
