Dash and gauge removing

Hi everybody, i'm new to this forum and a new owner of a GC 94. I wanted to modify all the dash backlight to blue but it's seem i need to weld some DEL on the printed circuit. By the way i tried to remove the dash cluster but i didn't find a easy way except to remove all the upper dash parts and all the fender on the steering wheel. Any one got some pics to remove all the cluster easy ? exploded schema will be very appreciated too. Thx all

Thanks Phil for your fast reply. But i got a GC 94 SE and the dashboard is not the same as the picture on the website. It seems that's the LAREDO version got a differant dash and it's easier to remove than mine. Do you have another website with the SE version or the exploded part of the dash could be nice too.

Theres like 3 screws above the cluster, 2 above the radio, and 2 in glove box. Then 4 under the defrost grill on the dash. Pop the top of the dash off, then 2 screws holding the cluster in. (At least on a 95)

I wish I could help..I took mine apart awhile back and it looked just like the one in the link...I like the indiglo look of either green or blue or dim and bright. I had a 94 before this 96 and don't recall anything majorly different. Like I said..I wish I could help. I did take pics of mine and they are in my sig.

96' JGC V-8 5.2L ltd.
way too much to list.
