Dangling hose in engine compartment, help! Photos!

Hey guys and gals-

I just looked under the front end of my leaky Jeap to remove a drip tray and I saw the small, greasy, dangling end of a hose hanging near my front diff.

It seems to originate from that thing in the center of the photo, on the driver's side near the evap - I have attached photos (or links) in hopes one of you can identify what it is, and where it belongs!!!!

Thanks!!

That's your differential vent tube. There's a connection on the top of the differential that it attaches to.

Thanks a sh*tload. It is now snugly back where it belongs. Crisis averted!

Seriously, though my sincere thanks.

If it comes off again, but a small hose clamp on to hold it in place.
