Dana 44a service

Hello,
Here I am again with a new question.
My 5.9 rear axle Dana 44a seems to need some service: opening the differential I noticed two broken rings (the rings that are on the cluthes) as you can better see from this picture:



I ask if they are the same of Dana 44 axle.

Once opened the differential my idea is to change bearings too. Are they the same of Dana 44? Where can I find them?

I have the same issue with the ring on the drivers side.

They are not the same. The D44 and D44HD are two different axles. The D44HD is the D44a. The part number to rebuild the track lok is 707018X according to my invoice sheet. Same happened to mine. Thrust washers separated and I found metal chunks in the diff.
