Aren't HP30s reverse rotation?
They are not reverse rotation.
That would require a backwards running tcase to that axle.
HP30s are High Pinion. The gear cuts are different, but they still spin the same direction.

I know what HP stands for, just thought I saw somewhere that they were reverse rotation. Maybe reverse cut. I don't know.

i believe all high pinion front axles are considered reverse cut. not sure what is meant by reverse rotation though. reverse cut just means the ring gear is cut opposite regular cut. it is designed that way because the pinion is placed higher and pushing in to the ring gear instead of out of it.

BTW many people mistake reverse cut for reverse rotation.

Yeah, exactly... I didn't even know there were two terms, much less a difference between them.

2003 WJ in Jeep Green Metallic, 4.0/242/4.10's. 4" Teraflex springs w/ RE monotube shocks and IRO short arms, cheap intake w/ amsoil filter, 2.5" hi flow cat and back exhaust, lots of lights and other misc crap.
