d44 reverse gearing.

is the gearing in the d44 in the 96 limited zj w/ a 5.2 a reverse rotation?

Why would it be?
That would mean the rest of the drive train would have to rotate reverse.

oh cause i was told they only came the 98s that had the 5.9 in them im not doubting im just saying

D44A came in all V8 ZJs 96 and later, and some I6s (and early V8s) with certain option packages.

None of them ran backwards.

nope. but i hear there are some really high cliffs to jump off of into the lake. lol but only 4wheelin places i've been to (legally lol) is windrock.

To keep this thread tech, I'm going to ask... What exactly does define an axle being reverse rotation? Would this be all front axles, some front axles? These are some of the questions that led to me just say "Hey Kolak, I need gears" instead of tracking down specific part numbers myself

2003 WJ in Jeep Green Metallic, 4.0/242/4.10's. 4" Teraflex springs w/ RE monotube shocks and IRO short arms, cheap intake w/ amsoil filter, 2.5" hi flow cat and back exhaust, lots of lights and other misc crap.

I'd like to know about the reverse rotation as well.

Aren't HP30s reverse rotation?
