CV Swap

What do I need to swap out the CV joint on my D30 to U-Joints. I have a 7in lift and a Double Cardan driveshaft but the Double Cardan driveshaft has broke at the U-Joint.

So I am thinking that I need to swap out the CV has anyone done this what is involved ?

When you say broke at the u-joint, on the transfercase or axle side of the driveshaft? And I assume you are talking about the front driveshaft?

Here is pictures of the Driveshaft

I might have figured out what happened I was looking over the driveshaft and I dont see where it has any weights on it from being balanced.

I was going down a hill on my buddys property getting ready to do a hill climb but on my way down the hill I heard a strange noise so I stopped at the bottom and sure enough my driveshaft was hanging down on the ground. We ended having to winch me out using a 12,500 pound winch it took about 1 hour to get back to the top of the hill once I lost 4WD.

Earlier on that trip my power steering box had sheared all the bolts and it was just hanging down so I fixed that and then the driveshaft screwed me over. What was meant to be a relaxing weekend in the woods hanging out jeeping and hunting turned into a headache. I

Pic of the hill climb from back in the summer

but this time it had about 2-4 inches of snow on some of it.
