CV Boot

The cv boot on the front passenger side is ripped on my gc. How hard ae they to change and what all do I have to take apart?

here's an idea,haynes manual has a small writeup nothing fancy gives you a general idea it may be easier to exchange the whole axle as it's advised once they tear and rip

If it's been that way long, grease came out, dirt went in... then you my need a new CV shaft.

Napa sells the whole shaft for like $55 after you turn in the old one.

Just be careful not to snap a bolt when removing the hub assembly. I can tell you how easy that is from experience lol.

I agree to just replace the whole CV axle. It's right around $60 after the core is returned. Direct bolt in swap. You never know if water/dirt got inside. The wheel bearing bolts are 12mm and are 12 point heads rather than 6 point.
