Crank Sensor????
Decided to call the mechanic that I've had for several years now and come to find out that the fuel pump wasn't the only thing going out...He suggested that the crank sensor needed replaced for the injectors to work...so...ordered a $63 crank sensor and now I just need to know where it's located...mechanic told me at the back of the transmission next to the engine but the guy at the auto store told me in the front at the bottom...although he said that he'd never worked on a chrysler before...who is right and does anybody with a 94 GCLrd know where it is???

Nope just like the mechanic said it's on top of the trans. When you pop the hood, look behind the engine on the right side (flashlight helps) and look right where the engine and tranny meet.
Getting to it is a P.I.T.A. Real cramped and hard to move hand let alone get a tool in there. Not impossible but a mechanic might be something to consider. Unless you enjoy cursing on your driveway as much as I do. |
