Cooling fan for the 5.2

Ok I have some choices to make. Some idiot ran a red and totaled the gc and I'm trying to get it going again on a non existent budget.

So heres my question, what is the best electric fan for my truck, what do they cost, and were do you get them?

I know some of the 5.9 came with an arctic fan stock, would this be a good option to look into as well?

Get them in a JY, or buy one off of eBay. If you were closer to me, I'd cut you a deal on one of them.

The most expensive part of the swap is your controller. I used a Delta Current Control unit that ran probably $80, IIRC. It's really nice!

There are cheaper controllers, just depends how you want it controlled.

Ruin... Freudian slip? Funny...

Not criticizing, I misspell stuff 2.

You should get a thermostatic controller.

With a manual switch, if you get distracted and forget to switch on... big oops.

SO, what's wrong with using an original fan... they work fine.

I did a efan swap to my truck. When the ac is on it over heats. When you turn it off temp drops instantly. Also new water pump thermostat hoses. Granted its 110 degrees here, but didn't have this issue with the clutch fan. Any help

When in doubt throttle out!

Is it a 2 speed fan with the high speed engaged for AC automatically?
