Coolent in my floorboard...

I rebuilt my 97 4.0 GC to replace a broken piston, But now the problem im having is some how my coolent from my radiator is ending up in my passenger floor board at a high rate (a gal a week). Where would this be coming from? I was thinking that it might be my heater core leaking. Anything or links to right-ups on this? Anythought?

What if... for now... i just remove the 2 tubes that go thru the firewall and just put a smaller tude from the thermo out to the water pump in... In other words just loop the system back around and just not thru the wall... I know no heat but any other downsides?

you can loop the system without any issues what so ever. Only result is you will have no heat.
