you want to change from coil spring to leaf spring? thats going the wrong direction. coil spring is way better than leaf spring.

X3.. Theres a reason some xj guys convert to coils. Judging from your OTHER post on the same subject you think you'll get more flex from leafs. Thats not right. Coils give more articulation. If you want better flex, get rid of your spacers and get longer coils.

depending on what hes doing coils may not be the best for him...

i agree me ZJ rides better then my XJ ever did but as far as the wheeling i did with that the XJ would have probably out performed the ZJ in quite a few areas. however i dont have a full lift on the ZJ yet so it may not be a fair comparison yet.

he made another post saying he wasn't getting the flex he wanted. Maybe he's not sure what he wants?

Coils flex more and easier than leafs, plus leaves always ride stiffer.

its been done numerous times. i dont have any links tho cuz iv never been interested. coils are better, but yes in the end cost more because coil spring suspension set ups are more complex than that of leaf springs..
but at the same time i think you could build a decent coil setup for the cost of fabbing up a leaf setup
