Code 27? One of the injector control circuit output driver does not respond properly

I am getting code 27 "One of the injector control circuits does not respond properly to the control signal. Check the circuits. "
It runs fine idling but when I put it in gear to accelerate it boggles and feels like it's misfiring. What's the best way to go about fixing this. How show I check the fuel injector circuits. Have a multimeter. Help please

A couple of years ago, I got that code out of the blue. I used a stethoscope to listen to the injectors, and it was immediately obvious that two of them weren't firing. I unplugged their harness connectors and saw that there was some green corrosion starting to build up on the metal contacts. I cleaned it off with a small wire brush, and that fixed it.

Update... I had just installed a pcm I had bought off of ebay. The seller said it would work with both the 4.0&5.2. I thought that was wierd. Turns out they aren't compatible. The remanufactured units have the same chips in them but have to be programmed for the application. So it turned out I had one for a 4.0. Bought a remanufactured one from advanced auto. Works great.

I got these two codes from my code reader #27 and #41. I was told I need to get a new computer, I just want to make sure that getting a new computer will fix these problems. Did it fix it for y'all?

Have you tried to fix the alternator. I would test that first. Also test out the fuel injectors with a multimeter. I would try everything else before replacing pcm. I fried mine charging the battery with out disconnecting the cables.

Listen to all the injectors first with a stethoscope (or a long screwdriver with the handle to your ear can work). Once you've identified which one(s) aren't working, you can then investigate why they aren't working. It could be as simple as cleaning the contacts.
