Code 1757

I ran obd2 and found code 1757 Please help. What is a govenor pressure sensor obd2 says gov pressure sensor is over 3 psi when 0 is requested. what are the steps in resolving this problem and where can i find one to buy?

It will not shift into third or forth, second gear is a chore to get it to shift. After driving it kicked this code. P1757. any help?

sounds like the pressure solenoid and sensor in the trans, i could be wrong tho

if so its not too hard to fix

It's time to replace the Governor Pressure sensor. You'll need to drop the tranny pan and filter to get to it. You will see the sensor inside a mounting case. There's a YouTube video on this exact problem. Search your trouble code with the word grand Cherokee and you should find it easily. I am on my phone or else I would post it for you, but I'll let you do the work.

Replace both the pressure sensor and solenoid.

I paid $50 + $75 locally.
