Cluster bulbs, the tiny expensive ones.

So after searching i discovered the bulbs separate from the sockets. I plan to try and source out some bulbs because mopar wants 21$ a piece and I need 4.

What I really want to know is can I drop an led in the socket?

The bulb your looking at goes behind the headlight switch it has a grey base and says 14V, 1.4 watt.

LED needs current limiting resistor installed in series... observe proper polarity.

Check superbrightleds.com, I think they have them rated at 14v.

Usually bulbs can be purchased by the box on ebay for a fraction of the retail cost elsewhere. Like $4 for a box of 10.

I don't buy bulbs locally any more

Sweet yea they are 6.95$ each for the 194. But only 12$ for shipping. So just 5 in the cluster right? the guy on that link ordered 7 but I think 2 were for the shifters

So I was ably to grab some hvac lights from a cherokee but since the housings were 1 step smaller I removed the bulbs and put them in the right size housings and I got my hvac to finally light up. And I took out my vic thingy ,not the vicbut 1 step down and i was able to get the tires to light up properly and the part time to finally work however when I shift to lo it remains on part time and lo wont light up no matter what bulb I put in there what could that be?.
