is this clogged cats?

Right now my fan isnt working and when i go wheeling from going slow i am running pretty warm almost to the top of the temp guage. So when i turn my jeep off to let it cool and go to restart it will buck and knock stall for awhile until i rev and hold the gas and it will return to normal. So i was wondering what is causing this. After it cools back down it runs fine just when it gets hot that it runs and idles like crap.

I need to also figure why my fan keeps going been threw 3 already i have good power and ground maybe its just because its an advance auto france pos.

It could be the cheap fans just failing. And don't let it run that hot (NEVER over 230 if you can help it, top of the gauge is 260), that could be the cause of your problems (hopefully you haven't done any major damage). Fix the fan before wheeling again.

i did hit about 250 at one point the check guages light came on i didnt want to turn it off that hot so i was trying to get to a wide open area where i could get wind going thru the rad. Idk what it is its the second fan i got from there same brand has a lifetime warranty but dies in a day. I def do not want to have that happen again so i am def gonna fix it first.

Maybe ill have to do the ford taurus fan or i also have a mechanical one that goes on the water pump which will be better?

I've heard good things about the Taurus fan swap. If you want mechanical, see if you can find a full lockup (not viscous) type clutch, as those have no drag when the fan is off. And you were right to try to cool it down before shutting off at that temp.

Hot fuel problem: fuel is boiling in the lines, so fuel vapor nor liquid fuel is being delivered.
Engine doesn't like that.

Solve the overheating problem and you'll solve the rough running problem too.
