THIS! I've had to take apart and re-solder the damn thing three times in two years! Though it helped to find out it was actually the pins themselves not connecting the two halves of the ECM together properly.

Ford put the incorrect "Inflate your tires to:" pressures on the inside of the door, it was either too over-inflated or under-inflated, can't remember, making tires blow and the thing would flip, at least more often than a car, because of it's high center of gravity. Tire blows and an SUV suddenly flips, kinda looks like it exploded like in a movie.

Yep, and I got a smoking deal on a used one with 20k miles, then ford bought me new tires. Kept it till everyone forgot and made a good sale,,, was a good ride for the wife.

Traded for a TJ,

That's because the recall is all Obama's fault.

No, what you need to do is talk to your nearest dealer's service department to see if/when they have the required information to do the recall. What will probably happen first is they will want to do an inspection on your Jeep to see if it has a factory hitch already installed, an aftermarket hitch, or no hitch. Depending on what they find they will either say it is good as is or have to order a hitch to complete the recall.

Bear in mind though, that with the amount of vehicles involved it could be several months before enough parts are in the PDC's to complete the recalls. I was speaking to one of my friends still in one of the local dealerships and he said that as of today they still haven't recieved the official instructions from corporate detailing how to handle the recall.

In the past, when I worked at Chrysler dealerships, from the time a recall was announced to the press it could take up to a month before we would recieve the instructions, not sure how Fiat's response time is.
