So far I got:
Rtv ultra black permatex
Cst thermostat and gasket
Super clean degreaser spray bottle
More oil
Parts plus oil filter
Pcv valve(wow it's ugly compared to mopars)
Little Goodyear water pump to intake hose with 2 new hose clamps
A fuel disconnect tool (3/8 and 5/16 I believe)

^^This ^^

Hughes and APS charge way too much for what the plenum plate upgrade is and thats why I bought from 1999BLKDAKRT on Speedfreaks,. Cost $65 shipped for the plate/bolts through him +$20 for the gaskets vs. $158 from APS or $135 from Hughes for the same exact parts.

Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner...similar to seafoam except it is compatible with the various sensors. Helps to clear out the gunk from oil blow-by. The guy on TSN is the same as the ebay link I posted above. I *think* your 97 also has a egr tube that can be a ***** to loosen. Make sure to look up tricks on how to do it.

Nope. It's easier to have two sets of hands when removing and installing the intake though. It's just awkward and you don't want to slip and bang it around. Just get all of the hoses and lines out of the way and be prepared to break some vacuum lines. They were brittle on mine.

When i changed my Plenum, I just loosened the EGR line that goes into the intake. Took forever with a stubby wrench, but I finally got it loose.

Don't use those intake end gaskets that go front to rear. Put a thick bead of permatex down instead and let it set for about 30 minutes before you instal the intake.

Yea toss the cork. Looks good to me unless you want to do valve cover gaskets and all coolant hoses.

My questio nis... an im sick of asking this question... Where do you get a torque wrench that will torque these bolts properly that isnt $100-200.... All the cheaper ones either go from 0-60 inch lbs.. and 60 isnt high enough... or they go from 20-200 and 20 is too high.. at least according to the guides i've seen which say to torque the bolts in sequence 12 inch lbs at a time...

So lemme ask again where are you guys getting the right torque wrench.. or is everyone using the 20-200 one ?? I've been asking this question on an off for like a year and no one really answers me lol....

What bolts tho.. Does his kit come with all 15 bolts and 12 manifold bolts ?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/DODGE-JEEP-A...#ht_568wt_1813 Because the one on this link doesnt come with those 12 bolts just the 15 and I do believe this is his ebay link.. Is this not the link to the dude's pan on speedfreak ?

If thats the case then $54 plus $25 felpro gasket, and How much would those 12 bolts cost ? That equals to about probly $100 or more.. which is the same as Hughes kit with everything all in one.. No need to to buy the gasket, pan, bolts from 3 diff places. Hughes is $120 now not $135.. Soo in reality the Hughes is a much easier deal to buy then buying from 3 diff places and costs Maybe $10 more ?
