::::::: Mod Name: Fender trim
::::::: Why Worth It: Looks way cleaner than a ****ty, rough cut. Hides the sharp fender edge
::::::: Cost: Cheap. under 20$
::::::: Where to buy: Home Depot, Hardware stores, garden stores
::::::: Time required: 1-2hrs
::::::: Difficulty: Easy
::::::: DIY: 2/10
I got some top "cap" stripping that is meant to go on top of metal yard edging. Like next to wood chip areas and stuff. It fit really tight on the newly trimmed fender. Holds great!

You have to trim out the hood a bit to make it fit, its quite a bit taller than the stock hat. There is a good write up on here about it by Polka, I believe.

They are pretty self explanatory. You could mount them elsewhere and/or make them different but the idea is there.

There ya go:
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f13/cupholders-1376387/

Less than 10 bucks and 20 minutes of time. Now I can carry an extra beer or two......
This actually worked so well, I transferred it into my 98 after wrecking my 97.

I'm looking into doing the dash light mod, but into blue.

Best thing you can do for ZJ brakes is to get them working correctly. It's not a "cheap" mod but making sure the front calipers are able to slide correctly will completely change how your Jeep feels while braking. Many of our Jeeps over time dig craters into the knuckle where the pads slide and need to be filled in with weld in order to use the brakes to their full potential. Another common thing is on the rear if you have drums, the cable that adjusts the shoes gets stretched overtime and no longer adjust the brakes. Recently fixed both on mine and now it stops much better.
