Cheap part not so cheap

I need help finding a part on my window regulator. The lower cable guide busted the other day. All I can find are replacements for the whole regulator, but all I need is the lower cable guide. So far price go from 300 bucks at the dealership to about 50 bucks on ebay. Does anybody know how to find the part # for this tiny little plastic peice that I need. or are there any suggestions on maybe fabbing one. any help is apreciated. oh ya it's on a 02 Grand cherokee limited front passanger side. thank you

I had the same problem a while ago. I knew I would have to pull the door panel off to try and replace that lower cable guide. I figured I would just buy the part on ebay and replace the whole thing. It was worth it. Easy install. It doesn't roll up as fast as the other stock ones that came with the Jeep but all I care about is that it works. I had no luck trying to find the cable guide but then again I didn't look that hard cause I was set on just replacing the whole thing.

I don't have a pic. It is that little half wheel on the lower part of the window regulator. the tab that connects it to the metal track snapped.

None of the parts on the regulator are seviceable. You have to buy a whole new regulator. It's retarted, but tha's jeep for ya. If you can get a mopar one on ebay for about 80-100 that's a pretty good deal. The dorman aftermarkets work good too. I've replaced 3 of the 4 on my 2003.
