yea they do im looking into new ones now...theyre so bad its dangerous...i go around a curve and hit a bump and it bounces all over the road

I run 10w 30 in the summer and in winter I run 10w40 had knocking in winter also went to heavier issue resolved not sure why plan on rebuilding engine soon I know I need to replace my lifters other than that not sure what can cause that I go to Lincoln tech my engine teacher thinks it's the oil pump but he's baffled as to what can cause it to go away with heavier oil and how it only happens in winter said won't know til we take it apart

I used some sensa trac shocks on mine weren't too bad only 35 each but I don't have a lift work better than the previous ones actually increased my ride height

Shocks won't determine ride height. Those are called springs. Shocks dampen the vertical movement of the springs so you don't bounce around all willy nilly like.

Yes I know but my old shocks were worn out so bad that the car was lowering because the shocks were almost at their end

if the jeep was sitting lower it was because the springs were sagging. the shocks do not hold any weight of the vehicle.
