changing transfer case fluid ? what do i use

hey guys i have a 242 transfer case , selectable 4x4 ...newayz i just finished servicing my diffs and i think instead of just checking my transfer case fluid, and adding if im low, im gonna go all out and change the fluid, sense i dont know when it was last changed ??

only one question, what fluid do i put in my 242 ? i read atf3 either mopar or dextron is fine ...but i just want to make sure.....ill be going to canadian tire or walmart to buy it, sooo im just makin sure its not a dealer only thing...thanx guys

The chrysler service manual for a 1995 ZJ shows Dexron II in the NP242.

The walmart in my area actually stocks Mopar ATF4 and sometimes you can find the ATF3. I don't recall if they have the Mopar Dexron II.
