Changing Dash/Gauge Light Color

Hello fellow Jeepers!

Im pretty new to the forum.. Just made this account today. I have a list of things I would like to do to my 5.9L ZJ but lately I am on a budget more than usual so I was wanting to tackle my gauge cluster project.
I painted my brake calipers red and have my tail lights smoked out. Im still thinking on whether or not I will accent the interior with blue or red.

Either way, any tips? suggestions? threads on how to do this project properly? I have never disassembled a cluster before..

Welcome to the forum! First, you drive a 5.9 ZJ, not XJ . Second, to get to the cluster you need to remove the dash pad and there's 3 screws holding the cluster in from the top. Buy some 194 led bulbs (like 5 bucks?) and they pop right in the back (no need to dissassemble the cluster)!
You can also stick 194's in your doors, glove box light, and both shifters. Stick a similarily colored HU in there and your jeep is pretty well accented.

Not to jack this thread, but I have to replace some bulbs in my 95 and I was looking forward to seeing some diss-assembly pics in the write up thread (refered to above by 1stblack97zj), but all I see are pic place holders and no actual pictures to gain inspiration from. Anyone else able to see the pics in the thread above?

Yep, there are like 30 pics, lol. Including disassembly, installation, reassembly, and final product, I don't know why you cannot see them.

Whoops! I thought I had put up ZJ instead of XJ ha, my bad.
The lights with my climate control console.. all have burnt out as well randomly along with the ones that are with the little console with the rear wiper control and heated seat options. Is there any way I could replace those? Or would I need to pull a new one from a GC at a scrap yard?

I checked out your build thread, very nice progress you've made! Those are definitely what I am interested in, I believe I read somewhere they can toggle between green and blue?
