center lower vehicle display clock keeps reseting

Does any one know why my center lower vehicle display clock keeps reseting every other day. It started after i changed my oil and reseted the oil service monitor. If you have any helpful info i would be greatful.

Have your battery checked out. It seems these vehicles need all 12 volts and then some, when that drops even a little, the VIC is the first to go.

At lot of times when mine is in the shop and up on the rack w/ doors open, ignition on etc. the damn thing resets.

Mine reset a couple of months ago, and sure enough it was a precursor to the battery going out entirely. Shortly after the VIC reset my battery began to lose more juice and eventually wouldn't start at all. Since replacing the battery (Sears DieHard Gold) it's been just fine.

1993 ZJ Limited 5.2 - no mods - Red with Gold (what were they thinking) trim.
