Center Console

I'm thinking of removing the center console to try and gain access to the O2 sensor wiring harness from above. Does anyone know how to remove the center console?

Chiltons says on 99 and newer models place the shifter in fully rearward position. (1st) and remove the rear storage bins (2 screws) then the front storage bin(2 screws) On the 99 and newer
it will be necesary to pull the cupholder uppwards to access the screws.( There is also a screw under the rear storage bin)
Remove the console from the vehicle by pulling the console up past the shift levers and toward the rear of the vehicle..

If you need pics I can scan the page for you ..

The upper image on the same page is for pre 99 which
includes ours (93) and here is the instructions as per
chiltons
Remove the cup holder and put the shifter in neutral
Hold the shifter and give the handle a sharp tug upwards
It. Pry the(PRNDL) plate off Remove the console mounting screws.
Lift the console upwards and disconnect electrical connectors.
Romove the console from the vehicle by pulling it up past the shift
lever and toward the rear of the vehicle..
Another diagram to follow..
Same as before copy and paste for a larger image..
Good luck hope this helps..

Thank you much, that will be very helpful. BTW, when I copy and paste the image, it doesn't get any larger. The Jeep forum server must resize the image when you post it.
