CB Antenna Mount

I have a a 200o WJ and my friend gave me a 3 foot firestick antenna and i have to buy the cable radio and mounting bracket. Does anyone have any idea where i can get a mount for the antenna? Also where are the best places to mount the antennas? I was thinking on the bumper behind the driver side tail light. Let me know please

Many ZJ owners use a bracket off the taillights in the rear to mount it to the side. Wrangler guys tend to mount it by the hood opposite of the regular antenna and everyone else does a bumper or roof mount. You can find a premade mount for just about any area you want, or adapt an already made one.

i never liked that, it seems like it would get caught on the trail and ripped off i used http://www.walcottcb.com/product_inf...roducts_id=589 took off my driver side rear light, drilled and riveted it in there and added a 5th hole in the center and riveted that as well and i love it. the quick disconnect is a good thing to have too

they both have quick disconnects, it takes me about 30 seconds to take them off (i have it set up for semi-anti-theft) with a screwdriver. I like the mounts, work great for me. Easy to install them and bolt in with the taillights. Even after hitting LOTS of stuff off road and in parking garages(the ones i can fit into) they havent bent or damaged anything besides the coating on the antennas.

Mine is right in between my driver seat and the center consul. Easy to get to and not to hard to wire but others have it other places, I'm sure they will chime in.
