Cascade transmission Master Solenoid Service Kit

Ok, this was recommended here and looks like a good kit. The family owned business seems to be another story though. I read here how one guy got a bad solenoid and they admitted they got a bad batch but wouldnt refund him.

I ordered a kit for my jeep and they sent the wrong kit. You cant contact them, they dont even list their email on their site. But when you do you just get a form email back saying they have to many and only respond to orders and sales. Well guess what? They dont, order # in the subject matter more than once. Oh yeah I got a shipping notice and a tracking number two days after it was delivered.

I am going to chance it again and order another kit, and yes my # was right. Its on their invoice . At this point even if they ever contact me for a return I dont trust them to actually refund me.

So if anyone needs a kit for their 96/97 model #22420AK, I will give it to you with a $40 discount.

That was me. Every time I see a discussion bring their business up I try to warn people of my experience. Reading other forums where their name has popped up yields similar stories.

I'd hope that was a rare occurrence. I put this Cascade Transmission set in my 42RE on a '93 I used to have and it worked like a dream

1993 ZJ 5.2 V8, 3.5 IRO lift, black steel rims 31/10.50 MTs. Aussie locker.

This is one of those jobs that suck to do twice. Mopar all the way on this type of stuff. Why chance it? I wouldn't even try Napa parts for this, and I love Napa overall.

Just for anyone reading this later (or now) The kit I got all though a different number works on the 42RE. It is listed on their site for the 47RE but has identical parts except for the gasket. If you order kit 12420AK (for 93-97 42re) they will send kit #22420AK for 96-97 47re. (with two dif pan gaskets) Stupid I know.

The only way I got them to respond was by reordering the kit and putting the problem in the notes for the order. Then they emailed me.

Glad everything is working out.

How did you pay? I always use paypal or a CC. Hopefully they would back me up in such a situation.
