gettin a proper 5.9 would be amazing, but in my country no more than 15 arrived, and at least 10 are bullet proof, so there are like 3-5 around and all are like new so the owners won't sell them just like that.

Yep here the 5.9 was $ 65,000 in '98 brand new !

You can get a 5.9 from any dodge truck or Durango.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but I came across this thread last night and now I'm thinking going with a 5.9. I've got a 97 5.2 that is blown. I read on here all I would need is the flexplate, H balancer, and a motor mount. What about the computer? Will my 5.2 electronics work with the 5.9? Also what about the trans? Should I upgrade to the 46re at the same time?
